SIRITARAR

Nothing here is accidental. Every tree has its place. Every path has its purpose.

A six-bedroom beachfront house on Lipa Noi, Koh Samui, designed for twelve guests and rented as a whole, from three bedrooms to six. Built on family land by a Samui-born owner, Siritarar is shaped by more than a hundred salvaged teak doors and windows, each chosen for the character and history it brings to the house.

The trees were here first. Everything else found its place around them. Every building, courtyard, pathway and pool was carefully positioned around what was already growing here.

Before a single line was drawn, an arborist surveyed the site to identify the trees worth keeping. Three old banyans still stand where they have always stood, and the master plan gently bends around them.

Much of it raised above the ground and open to the sea, the architecture follows the traditions of Koh Samui's old houses — built to welcome the breeze, the light and the landscape rather than shut them out.
