Just as people on Koh Samui once came to the market for what they could not find at home, we travel beyond the island to seek out makers whose work is made with care, and meant to last.

The shop stands beneath the kan-krao tree — the same flower that is in the Siritarar mark. The paving stops where the tree stands, and starts again on the other side.
