What is Siritarar?
Siritarar is a six-bedroom beachfront villa at Lipa Noi on the west
coast of Koh Samui, rented as a whole house for up to twelve adults and
two children.
What makes Siritarar different from a hotel?
Siritarar is not a hotel. The whole house is taken by one party at a
time, never let by individual room. Six bedrooms sleep twelve adults and
two children, and the house can also be taken as three, four or five
bedrooms. The 14-metre pool, the garden and the beachfront are for that
one party alone.
Where is Siritarar located?
Siritarar is on Lipa Noi Beach on the west coast of Koh Samui, with direct beach access at the end of the garden. Facing west, the villa looks across the Gulf of Thailand .
How many bedrooms does Siritarar have?
Siritarar has six bedrooms sleeping twelve adults and two children, each named after a tree growing on the land. The house can also be taken as three bedrooms (six adults and two children), four bedrooms (eight) or five bedrooms (ten), and is always held for one party at a time.
Do all bedrooms at Siritarar have sea views?
Four of the six bedrooms look out to the sea — three from inside the room, one from its terrace. The other two open onto the garden. Each of the six is named after a tree growing on the land and is designed around it, and all six sit on the same west-facing beachfront at Lipa Noi.
Is Siritarar suitable for families?
Yes. Siritarar sleeps twelve adults and two children across six bedrooms, taken as one whole house — so a family or a group travels together with no other guests at all. The 14-metre pool and the beach at the end of the garden are for that one party alone, and Bedroom 4 (Sathon) is step-free from the car park through to the beachfront.
Is there an accessible bedroom at Siritarar?
Yes. Bedroom 4 (Sathon) at Siritarar has a fully step-free route from the car park, through the bedroom and bathroom, and out to the beachfront — a 90 cm doorway, a double-swing bathroom door, grab rails and a shower seat. There is turning space within the bathroom, though not inside the shower area itself. The living and dining pavilion sits 1.2 metres higher and is reached by steps.
Is breakfast included at Siritarar?
Yes. Breakfast is included at Siritarar and is prepared in the house each morning for the one party renting the whole villa at Lipa Noi, Koh Samui.
Is there a restaurant at Siritarar?
No. Siritarar is a private villa, not a hotel, and has no public
restaurant. The kitchen and dining pavilion are for the one party renting
the whole house at Lipa Noi, Koh Samui.
Can you arrange a private dinner?
Yes. A chef cooks in the house each day, and meals are decided as the party wishes — an unhurried lunch by the pool, or dinner set out on the sand for a celebration. Guests pay for ingredients at cost plus a twenty percent handling charge. Dining here is private to the house rather than a restaurant, and guests are always welcome to spend an evening at the island's own tables.
Can you arrange local experiences?
Yes. Siritarar arranges island experiences on Koh Samui — local markets, cultural visits, wellness sessions and artisan workshops — introduced through people the family has known for years on the west coast.
Does Siritarar arrange airport transfers?
Yes. Siritarar is 29 kilometres from Samui International Airport, about
one hour by road, and transfers can be arranged before arrival.
Can Siritarar help plan my stay?
Yes. Siritarar prepares an itinerary for each party before arrival,
covering dining at the house, experiences on Koh Samui, and transport
across the island.
What sustainability measures does Siritarar have?
At Siritarar all wastewater is treated on site and returned to the
garden, and waste heat from the air conditioning is used to make the
villa's hot water. The trees growing on the land were surveyed before the
plan was drawn, and the house was set out around them.
Why are the trees important at Siritarar?
The mature trees on the land at Siritarar — Kan-Krao, banyan and
coconut palms — were surveyed before the house was designed, and the plan
was set out around them. Each of the six bedrooms is named after one of
them.
What is LAHD?
LAHD is the craft and design shop at Siritarar, Lipa Noi, Koh Samui, gathering the work of makers sought out beyond the island — pieces made with care, and meant to last. It stands beneath the kan-krao tree, the same flower that appears in the Siritarar mark. The shop is not yet open.
What does "LAHD" mean?
LAHD means "market" in Southern Thai — a place where people gather,
find things and trade. It is the name of the craft shop at Siritarar,
Lipa Noi, Koh Samui.
Can I visit LAHD without staying at Siritarar?
Not yet. LAHD stands beneath the kan-krao tree at Siritarar, Lipa Noi, and is still being prepared. When it opens, visitors will be welcome whether or not they are staying at the house.
What time is check-in and check-out at Siritarar?
Check-in at Siritarar is from 2:00 PM and check-out is by 12:00 noon. Because the whole house is held for one party, earlier arrival or later departure can often be arranged.
Is free Wi-Fi available?
Yes. Wi-Fi runs throughout the house at Siritarar, Lipa Noi, Koh Samui, at no charge.
